For Insulin Safety Week a reminder animation film has been produced to reduce insulin errors.

This week is Insulin Safety Week and a new animated short film has been produced to raise awareness on how reduce insulin errors.

Latest figures show that 40% of people with diabetes taking insulin have at least one error in administering the treatment during their hospital stay.

The campaign runs from 6 – 11 July to remind healthcare professionals of the importance of delivering the correct amount of insulin to the correct individuals at the required time in a bid to reduce insulin errors.
